IFARHU Loans

IFARHU offers loans for Panamanian students interested in taking higher education degrees overseas.

Values:

. up to a maximum of PAB 24,000 (around GBP 18,000) if the student starts repaying after graduation;

. up to PAB 80,000 (around GBP 62,000) if the student starts repaying after the first instalment is released.

Loans can be used to pay for: maintenance (subsistence, accommodation, transport) and programme-related costs (tuition fees, lab costs, material, equipment, among others).

IFARHU also offers loans for those interested in participating in seminars, short courses and conferences.

International Undergraduate Scholarship

As part of our commitment to attracting the very best students to join our diverse international community, we are delighted to offer the University of Aberdeen International Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is worth one year’s tuition fee and is open to all international undergraduate students studying for 4 years or more at the University of Aberdeen (excludes Medicine). 

What does this mean?

  • If you are an international student entering into an undergraduate degree programme of at least four years duration we will offer you a scholarship equivalent to the tuition fee for your fourth year (excludes medicine)

Each year, the University of Aberdeen enrols a number of international graduate students awarded a prestigious Chevening Scholarship. Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. Arthur L McCombie Bursary

The Arthur L McCombie Bursary is available for the 2019/20 academic year. It is awarded at £3,000 per annum during the student's penultimate and/or final year of the Undergraduate degree at Honours level (usually third and/or fourth year of studies) and will be awarded up to a maximum of two years.

Voice Talent Online is offering one USD 1000 scholarship to help with costs related to studying. Any student enrolled in a university - anywhere in the world - can apply.

Postgraduate Taught

Aberdeen Alumni Discount

20% discount is available for University of Aberdeen graduates on the full cost of a taught postgraduate programme and one year of a full time research programme (two years for part time). Applies to a number of taught postgraduate programmes or first year of a full time research programme.


CB Davidson Fund

The CB Davidson fund provides limited financial support for Postgraduate students within the School of Law.

James Carnegie Scholarship

There is one James Carnegie Scholarship available. The scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students' maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years).

Thanks to a generous donation from the Very Reverend Professor Iain Torrance, the University of Aberdeen is pleased to offer the T.F. Torrance Scholarships. The scholarships support promising doctoral students studying on a full-time, residential basis at the University of Aberdeen in the fields of Systematic and Historical Theology, Pastoral Theology, Theological Ethics and Biblical Studies.

Carnegie/Caledonian PhD Scholarships

Carnegie/Caledonian Scholarships are prestigious schemes of scholarships designed to support a limited number of graduates with first class honours degrees who will pursue three years of postgraduate research leading to a PhD at a Scottish university. There is no restriction on the subject or field.
