Undergraduate

Senior Secondary Certificate

Science: A pass at credit or better in WASSCE in at least five subjects including English and Mathematics, and including two science subjects at grade B or better.

In addition we require either a University diploma with good performance in an appropriate science or maths subject, OR successful completion of the first year of an appropriate BSc degree programme at a university in Ghana with a good average grade OR satisfactory completion of an approved science foundation course. 

Engineering: A pass at grade B or better in WASSCE in at least five subjects including English, Mathematics and Physics.

In addition we require either a University diploma with a good performance in an appropriate Bachelor of Engineering or Mathematics subject OR successful completion of the first year of an appropriate Bachelor of Engineering degree programme at a university in Ghana with a good average grade OR satisfactory completion of an approved foundation course. A pass at grade B or better in WASSCE or NECO in Chemistry is required for Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.

Law:

5 subjects in WASSCE or NECO, all at a grade of least C4 (including English) and two of the five subjects must be at a grade of B3 or better.

OR

B. A pass at credit in WASSCE or NECO in at least five subjects including English PLUS either an Ordinary National Diploma with Upper Credit, OR successful completion of the first year of an appropriate arts or law degree programme at a university in Nigeria with a good average grade, OR satisfactory completion of an approved law foundation course.

In addition we require either an Ordinary National Diploma with Upper Credit, OR successful completion of the first year of an appropriate arts or law degree programme at a university in Nigeria with a good average grade, OR satisfactory completion of an approved law foundation course.

Postgraduate:  A score of 60-70% or 3.0-3.49 from a well ranked public institution is considered comparable to a UK 2.1, while a score of 50-59% or 2.5-2.99 is considered comparable to a UK 2.2.
