In 2011, His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, spiritual and political head of the Tibetan people, passed his political authority to a democratically-elected president, or Sikyong. On Friday, 28th April, His Excellency Penpa Tsering, Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamsala, North India will be addressing the staff and students of the University of Aberdeen to discuss the past and future of Tibet. This event is for students and staff only, booking is essential.
