Teacher and Student Schools Resources

Our lecturers and professors in Divinity at the University of Aberdeen are keen to make knowledge of the discipline as broadly available as possible. To that end, we have produced some resources to help with teaching and revision for A-level and Higher Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics, and RMPS.

Our hope is to create two or three new sets of resources each semester, so—as well as making use of those which are here—do come back to our website regularly to see what else we have posted. And follow us on Twitter and Facebook to discover when new resources have been uploaded!

The idea is to provide a short podcast or interview on a topic (and also at points some slides or notes or discussion questions) to help with some of the knottier areas of the syllabus, or to give a different angle from the usual perspectives in the text book. Please see the links on the left hand side of this page which will lead to specific topics and areas for which we have already created resources.

We hope you find these useful, and if there are areas of the curriculum you would find it helpful for us to resource, please don’t hesitate to contact the Head of Divinity, Professor Tom Greggs at t.greggs@abdn.ac.uk .
