The Scottish Fish Immunology Research Centre has undergone a digital facelift. The Centre has recently had their website updated and upgraded, as well as joining social media to share the world leading science they do with the general public. Using the new website the public will be able to view current projects, publications, facilities, staff and students currently in the Centre. In the future You Tube videos and a public engagement section will be available. This will help to convey the often complicated research into a more understandable format.
The University of Aberdeen already has a thriving public engagement team and activities, and are pleased to see further improvements. Staff at the centre have been very keen to engage with the public and now have the perfect platform to do that. The facelift hopefully will also improve the number and scope of collaborations and research grants that come into the centre.
