Research Overview
I am a soil physicist with research spanning into microbiology. Since 2006 my research has focused on bacterial transport in soil, using a range of approaches and modelling to explore the impacts of soil water repellency.
Current Research
My current focus is severing new approaches (micro-computed tomography, microfluidics, and X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) to characterize interfacial properties of microplastics-affected soils and their impacts on synthesized DNAs fate to mimic bacteria behavior with regards to climate change.
