Biography
Mélanie began her PhD in the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) in September 2019 under the Aberdeen – Curtin Alliance PhD Programme. Her research topic is ‘Public and patient preferences for social prescribing’, which will be conducted under the supervision of Professor Marjon van der Pol and Dr Verity Watson from HERU, and Professor Suzanne Robinson and Dr Richard Norman from Curtin University, Western Australia. She holds a PharmD from Clermont Auvergne University in France and a MSc in Health Economics from Paris-Est Créteil University, France. Prior to beginning her PhD, Mélanie worked as an MSc student and then as a Research Assistant in HERU on a project entitled ‘The location choices of General Practice in Scotland’.
