Biography
Abraham joined HERU as a research fellow in March 2023 and works in the Health Behaviour and Assessment of Technologies themes within the unit. His main research interests lie in the economic evaluation of health interventions using both trial-based and decision-modeling approaches. Abraham obtained his PhD degree in 2021 from Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on the economic evaluation of prostate cancer screening. He holds an MSc degree in Epidemiology and Economics from Utrecht University, the Netherlands (in 2015). Abraham’s first degree was Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Jimma university, Ethiopia. Abraham had worked as a lecturer at Ambo University, Ethiopia.
