Initial Teacher Education
Welcome to Initial Teacher Education
We provide ITE programmes that enable students to train to become Primary and Secondary teachers, through our undergraduate MA Primary Education and postgraduate PGDE Primary/ PGDE Secondary.
Our programmes develop students both on campus and in school placements preparing them with the skills required for their teaching careers.
We aim to transform our students into adaptable, flexible teachers who can instil a love of life-long learning and face the challenges of teaching to support all learners and foster collaborative working. We offer a diverse selection of courses to challenge your thinking and give you the skills you need to become an effective teacher in the classroom.
