Second Annual Philosophy Reading Party
The second annual Philosophy Reading Party took place in Ballater, Aberdeenshire, March 23-25. Staff members appointed to REF sub-panels

Staff grant success
The School is pleased to announced that Professor Karin Friedrich has been awarded a Leverhulme Fellowship ("Dynastic identity in early modern Poland: Boguslaw Radziwill (1620-1669) and his world", £54,000) and Dr Ulrich Stegmann has been awarded a British Academy Mid-career Fellowship. Congratulations to both!

Santander Mobility Awards
Applications are being accepted for the 2018 Santander Mobility Awards (deadline 30th March at 5pm). The Mobility Award for Students and Staff offers an award up to a maximum value of £1,000 to support mobility, short-term study or research at another institution in the international Santander Universities network.
