I believe renewable energy will be a hot topic of the changing world in the future, and I am willing to be part of it.
What did you most enjoy about your time at Aberdeen? Did you have any particularly memorable student experiences?
I love the library and the coffee shop in the University. And the view of the sea is particularly memorable.
If talking to a group of prospective students, what advice would you give them to help them make the most of their time at the University of Aberdeen?
To communicate with everyone, exchange ideas and make friends. There are students and staff from all over the world; it is important to get to know other cultures!

What was the title of your first job after graduating from Aberdeen?
Entrepreneur.
What did your first role involve?
Everything involved in opening a bar.
What is your current job title?
Sales for Central Europe at Chint Global.
What is your current role?
I sell MCCB and PV projects to European customers.
Please briefly describe the journey from your first job after graduating to where you are now.
I was drinking at my own bar and one of my customers who was working for Chint Global came in. We discussed our mutual interests, and I got an offer from the company without applying.
Was your degree at Aberdeen essential for getting to where you are now? If so, in what way?
It is very essential for my main job (Chint Global). The products and projects basically include all I have learnt from the University, from low voltage to transmission and the distribution of electricity - even renewable energy!
