Postgraduate entry requirements

Postgraduate academic entry requirements

Requirements may vary according to recognition of University and scoring system used.

Typically, students will need to complete a 4 year Bachelors Degree to be considered for PG study. A  GPA of 2.6 (around 65% depending on grading scale of institution) is considered comparable to a UK 2.2. University of London External degree programmes are also considered for entry.

For Business School programmes the minimum entry requirement is an undergraduate degree at UK Honours level (or a degree from a non-UK institution which is judged by the University to be of equivalent worth).

NB: While a NEBOSH qualification is at the equivalent level of a Bachelor degree, it is not usually accepted for Master’s studies at the University of Aberdeen as it is a professional rather than academic qualification.
