Undergraduate: We accept the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) for direct entry into Year 1, subject to the requirements outlined below.
Science: An overall average of B+ (B+ required in two science subjects or one science + mathematics).
Engineering: An overall average of B+ (B+ required in mathematics and physics)
Arts and Social Science: An overall average of B+

The University of Aberdeen International Study Centre offers foundation programmes for international students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for undergraduate study.
Postgraduate: A score of 60-69% from a well ranked institution is considered comparable to a UK 2.1, while a score of 50-59% is considered comparable to a UK 2.2.
For Business School PGT programmes the minimum entry requirement is an undergraduate degree at UK Honours level (or a degree from a non-UK institution which is judged by the University to be of equivalent worth).
English Language Requirements:
- Applicants from Kenya can submit their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), provided their English grade is a minimum of C, in order to meet our English language requirements.
