Current social distance rules limit us to only be 20 slots for students to participate in person. Those who would like to attend in person should be prepared to attend for the entire term. Please e-mail Rob Heimburger if you are interested in attending in person.

The seminar will be streamed live for distance students, and we will plan to have it recorded as well for those who cannot make this time. Students who would like to participate at a distance should also notify Rob Heimburger, robert.heimburger@abdn.ac.uk .

27 Sept., Introduction to text and context with Jacob Marques Rollison, Vol. I pp. 1-14, Vol. 2 pp. 1-9. Recommended further background reading, Rollison ed., Jacques Ellul and the Bible: Towards a Hermeneutic of Freedom (Pickwick: 2020), chs. 5 and 11.
