Image of the braid groups inside the finite Temperley-Lieb algebras.
Let Bn be the usual braid group, and k be a field. It is natural to want to describe the image of Bn inside the quotients of the group algebra kBn.In this talk, we discuss the case of the image of Bn inside the Temperley-Lieb algebra (which is a natural quotient of kBn), when k is a finite field.This is joint work with Ivan Marin.
