The official launch ceremony of the Aberdeen Student Law Review Vol 6 (2014/2015) will be on Monday 14th December 16:30-18:00 at the Sir Duncan Rice Library (7th floor).

The Aberdeen Student Law Review (ASLR) was one of the first student law reviews published in Scotland. It aims to make a high-quality contribution to current debates on local and global legal issues. The ASLR is distributed worldwide and has a wide readership ranging from law students in Canada to Senators of the College of Justice. It counts a number of lecturers amongst its previous editors and is a source of great pride within Aberdeen University’s Law School. It is also closely connected to local law firms counting many of their trainees and solicitors amongst previous editors and authors. Stronachs LLP currently provides generous sponsorship towards its publication, for which recognition and respect grow every year.

The launch ceremony is an opportunity to recognise the meticulous work of our authors and celebrate the contribution the ASLR makes to Aberdeen University’s vibrant legal research community. It will consist of various short presentations by our published authors, followed by drinks and a chance to meet our editors, authors and reviewers. This is a free event and a limited number of print-copies of the ASLR will be available for collection on the day.

This is an open event however if you wish to attend please email Constantinos Yiallourides (Managing Editor ASLR) at constantinos.yiallourides@abdn.ac.uk
