11.25 am – 11.35 am DIGinLaw MOOC ‘International Family Law in the Age of Modern Technologies’ (Dr Katarina Trimmings)

11.35 am – 12.15 pm  Discussion on the “Ethical guidelines on the use of artificial intelligence and data in teaching and learning for educators” (presentation by Dr Guido Noto La Diega, University of Stirling, member of the expert group on artificial intelligence and data in education and training, established by the EU Commission).

This will be a discussion-based session. The debate will centre on the following questions:

  1. “What digital competencies and skills does the legal profession require from law graduates?”
  2. “What digitalisation trends have emerged in individual areas of legal practice?”
  3. “What best practices for advancing your and your team’s digital skills have you developed or adopted?”
