This is a past event

The UK POAM Team will be hosting two Training Workshops based on the POAM Best Practice Guide. This would be the first of its kind and the opportunity to consider the POAM project’s newly published Best Practice Guide on protective measures in return Hague Convention proceedings involving allegations of domestic violence. Participants will be able to attend either on Tuesday, 15th of December 2020 12-2pm or Thursday, 17th of December 2020, 12-2pm.

The UK Training Workshops are part of a wider consortium of training workshops taking place across other partner Member States involved in the research project: Croatia, Germany and Italy, and completes the workshop series that has taken place over the last two years including the 2019 Local Workshops and the 2020 International Experts’ Workshop. The UK Training Workshops will be hosted by the University of Aberdeen and shall take place via the virtual platform Collaborate. The POAM project, led by the University of Aberdeen, explores the intersection between domestic violence and international parental child abduction within the European Union. For further details on the workshops or more information about the project, please visit the project website: https://research.abdn.ac.uk/poam/. To register your attendance, please kindly email Dr Onyója Momoh, POAM UK Research Assistant, at onyoja.momoh2@abdn.ac.uk.
