University computers running Windows will be automatically upgraded.
What is happening?
Mindjet MindManager for Windows version 2016 is now available to all staff and students. Current MindManager users on a university networked Windows device will be automatically upgraded and the software will be available on the Software Centre for new users and on the Software Download Service for personal devices.
What should you do?
Current users on University network.
Mindjet MindManager for Windows users that already have an older version installed on their university networked devices will be automatically upgraded. You may need to reboot your computer to initiate the upgrade.
New users on University network
To install Mindjet MindManager for Windows on a University based domain PC or networked laptop:
• Go to the Software Centre on your computer: Start Menu > All Programs > Microsoft System Centre 2012> Configuration Manager > Software Centre
• From the list of software, select Mindjet MindManager 2016
• The installation will take from 10 to 60 minutes. You can minimise the installation screen while the software is installing but please do not restart your PC until installation is complete.
Staff and students can install Mindjet MindManager 2016 for Windows on a personal machine. Please download the software and installation instructions located within the Other Applications section of the Software Download Service at http://www.abdn.ac.uk/local/download. You will need your username and password to log onto the site.
There is also a Mac version of the software. You can download Mindjet MindManager for Mac from the Other Applications section of the Software Download Service at http://www.abdn.ac.uk/local/download. You will need your username and password to log onto the site.
