Short outages reported on JANET core network
What is happening?
We have been notified by our core network suppliers JANET (the UK Education and Research network) that there have been several short outages on their core network. This has the potential to interrupt our internet service or degrade internet performance.
JANET engineers are actively working this issue, however, you may notice slower internet responses until this issue is resolved.
What should you do?
If you are working with files remotely (i.e. Outside of the University network), you should save your work on a regular basis to avoid any potential data loss.
