Affecting: student home filespace; text versions of University web pages; automatic allocation of network addresses on ugrad network
What is happening?
DIT must regretfully carry out urgent maintenance that will involve re-starting some of our servers. This work will affect the student home space, text versions of the University web pages, and the automatic allocation of network addresses on the undergraduate network, and will take place from 07:00-07:30 on Wednesday 6 May 2009.
What should you do?
As there may be some minor disruption to IT services, we highly recommend that you do not work on any IT systems during this period of low risk and reduced resilience. If you do continue to work during this period, please ensure that you save your work regularly to prevent any loss of data.
