File Storage Maintenance
What is happening?
Some file storage services will be unavailable for brief periods between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday 19 May.
The areas primarily affected are:
- H Drives
- Shared drives
- Team drives
What should you do?
If you are planning to work on documents that are stored on the affected shared drives during this period then please save your work regularly.
Why is this happening?
We are installing critical software updates on the University storage servers known to us as the Isilon storage. Each storage server has to reboot during the installation. While the server reboots you may be temporarily disconnected. Please refresh, or log off then back on again, for your connection to be re-established.
This maintenance has been scheduled for out of normal office hours in order to limit impact.
