Brief interruptions between 6pm and 11pm
What is happening?
Some file storage services will be unavailable for brief periods tomorrow evening, Thursday 26th September, between 6pm and 11pm.
The areas primarily affected are:
- Team drives for Schools incorporating the Arts and Social Sciences
- Team drives for Professional Services and dependent applications
- Software applications accessed via Classroom PCs
- OwnCloud storage
What should you do?
If you are planning to work on documents, etc. that are stored on the affected shared drives during this period, please save your work locally onto your hard drive or a USB drive. After this period, copy these files back to the shared drive to enable them to be backed up overnight.
