What is happening?
The University corporate website (www.abdn.ac.uk) will be migrated onto new technology on Tuesday 11 October 2016 at 8am.
How will this affect you?
You may experience a small pause of a couple of seconds in the corporate web service when we switch to the new technology, although we do not expect there to be any significant outage.
Post-migration, there should be no change to the links and navigation within the corporate website. If you have any problems with links after the migration, please contact the IT Service Desk.
Why is this happening?
This major upgrade is necessaryto keep pace with the ever-growing demands of the web and to maximise the benefits of evolving technologies.
