Academics & Clinicians

The Development Trust SCIO receives funding from individuals, companies, organisations, trusts and foundations to support the excellent work that is undertaken by the University’s academics and clinicians.

While we do not accept ad hoc applications, there is a process for applying for the funds that are available specifically for your discipline.

When the Development Trust SCIO receives money for specific projects or disciplines, we will inform the appropriate academic or clinician and the application for funding process is then their responsibility.

Funding may be available, for example, to conduct research, for research staff posts and other salaried posts, for lab equipment and for postgraduate studentships and PhD scholarships.
