The Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research brings together four UK Centres of excellence (Scotland, HeRC, London and CIPHER) encompassing 24 Universities and 2 MRC Units and acts as the nexus of the wider UK Health Informatics Research Network.
In August 2015 the Farr Institute shall be hosting an International Conference in St Andrews. This will build on the successful conferences under the auspices of SHIP attracting delegates from across the world including New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada and Europe.
The conference is designed for researchers, practitioners and policy makers interested in record linkage and the use of routine health data in their research. During the three days we will have a variety of plenary sessions, workshops and keynote speakers as well as social networking opportunities.
We invite abstracts to be submitted on the following themes:
- Cohort Study Linkage
- Research Methodology
- Best Practice in Governance
- Public Engagement
- Stratified Medicine
- Clinical Trials - Methodology and Execution
- Open Innovation using Data Analytics
- Data linkage to support Policy development
