Celebration of Scottish & Gaelic Culture

Celebration of Scottish & Gaelic Culture

This is a past event

The University of Aberdeen cordially invites staff, students, and the public to an exciting celebration of Scottish and Gaelic culture at the University on 26 April 2013. The half-day event will feature opportunities to learn more about the Gaelic language and culture, and as part of the celebration, we will be launching the University's Gaelic Language Plan.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of food, drink, music and language, with exhibitions and information stands from organisations like Scottish Culture & Traditions, Clì, Learngaelic.net, The Gaelic Books Council, and more! What’s more, we’re also holding a number of fun workshops to learn more about the Gaelic language and culture; why not sign up for a free Gaelic language taster session? For the full programme of events, visit www.abdn.ac.uk/gaelicplan.
