Product Forge is running the Medical Visualisation hackathon in collaboration with Toshiba Medical Visualization Systems Europe, at CodeBase in Edinburgh from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th November 2017.
Medical Visualisation Product Forge will focus on projects or collaborations that utilise innovations in medical visualisation to deliver improved clinical pathways, and precision medicine tailored to the individual patient.
Entrepreneurially minded data scientists and analysts, clinicians, designers and software engineers will spend 3 days and 3 nights side by side to develop innovative products, services or tools that would help solve medical challenges that benefit patients and the work of healthcare professionals.
Participants form small cross-functional teams to work on a product prototype with support from subject matter experts and the wider technology community.
Whether you already have an idea that you would like to prototype or you would just like to make new connections, we invite you to come along and meet talented people with shared goals to improve medical visualisation and precision medicine.
All the participants receive mentoring, 10 free meals and 24 hour access to the venue, and the top ranking teams can access support to develop their concept beyond the event.
