Prizes for the top Engineering graduates in the class of 2021

The School of Engineering has honoured undergraduate students who have excelled in their field of study, as part of the School's annual prize-giving.

The full list of the prizes currently available to engineering students is available at this link

Prizes are instituted by professional engineering institutions (e.g. The Institution of Civil Engineers, The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, The Institution of Engineering and Technology), companies (e.g. Chevron and Marathon Oil), societies (e.g. Aberdeen Mechanical Society, Society of Underwater Technology) or in memory of individuals (e.g. the Peter MacConnell Memorial Prize). Nominations for engineering prizes are made at the end of each academic year by the School of Engineering Prizes Committee.

Congratulations to all of our prize-winners on their success. You have shown the tenacity, dedication, intelligence, creativity and determination to succeed, and we are extremely proud of you.”
- Professor Maria Kashtalyan, Convener of the Prizes Committee

“The School of Engineering is delighted to recognise and celebrate academic excellence of our students as well as their voluntary service to the university community. I would like to warmly congratulate all the students who have been nominated for prizes on their success. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We are very proud of your academic achievements.”
- Professor Igor Guz, Head of School
