CPD Programmes

The Energy Sector is ever evolving; providing organisations with challenges around their key asset – their people. Competencies, skills and knowledge; and the ongoing development and training needs of employees working in the industry, and those entering the sector are crucial to success; be it in delivering projects or remaining competitive in a global environment.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is used to address both common themes and more individual training needs within organisations; be it in relation to on-going development or new innovations. CPD enables a conscious and proactive approach to development; combining different learning styles and approaches. We provide workshops, conferences, short courses, e-learning programmes and tailored training, all focused on improving an individual’s knowledge and skills, providing an impact for their employer.

Our offering in CPD is developed in several ways. We have a number of already established MSc degree programmes and training programmes that have been specifically tailored for individuals working in the industry. The programmes can be studied in a modular fashion on a part-time basis to suit working individuals. In some cases, previous industry experience will be essential, whereas others are aimed more at newcomers to the industry.

We also offer a range of professional development short courses and conferences. We have the ability to develop tailored training products and solutions to suit the exact needs of an organisation. We are capable of drawing upon our inter-disciplinary teams operating in the Institute of Energy Transition to tailor a package to suit your needs and personnel. We have experience of delivering CPD in company premises, to varying group sizes, in-country and over an agreed period of time.
