The Department of Philosophy within DHPA welcomed over 30 students and visitors as part of our international partnerships with several Chinese institutions. Led by Dr Gerry Hough and Dr Michael Beaney, the two-week program showcased the expertise of the entire department, giving students the opportunity to learn everything from ancient Chinese philosophy to the Ethics of AI. The students and visitors also immersed themselves in Scottish culture and activities during their stay. From country dancing, lead by our student society, to visiting Edinburgh castle and getting their very own tour of Aberdeen by the incredible Rick. The students ended their trip in Scotland with an institution almost as legendary as the University with our students The Bobbin for their farewell dinner as a way to celebrate all of their hard work during their stay.
