The University of Aberdeen Careers and Employability Service has developed a series of mini career courses covering a range of topics, from setting up your LinkedIn profile to making applications and doing well at interview. Each online course should take around 15 minutes to complete.

Mini Career Course: Developing Career Plans

This mini career course introduces you to a wide range of tools that can be helpful at every stage of the career planning journey, enabling you to explore your options, developing and building on ideas you already have and perhaps widening your scope and introducing new ideas to consider. This mini career course is relevant to students who haven't started to think about their career plan yet. It is also relevant to students with a set career path in mind to ensure you know of the steps needed to make it a reality. The course should take about 15 minutes to complete

Mini Career Course: Job search for International Students

This short course will give you an introduction to the UK job market, what opportunities are available to students and graduates, how to apply and what visa options are open to international students. It is aimed at any student from outwith the UK but particularly at those on student visas. We anticipate it should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

This mini online career course is designed to help you understand the nature of resilience and why resilience is important. The course will provide guidance on how to develop resilience and will highlight key resources to help you.

Mini Career Course: Applying for Initial Teacher Education (PGDE)
