
Our paid ABDN Internships opportunities are dedicated to current University of Aberdeen students and are available at various points throughout the year. Internships take place part-time during term time and up to full-time during the summer.
ABDN Internships 2025–26
See below for details of current and upcoming internships. Please note the following eligibility carefully:
Eligibility: All current students on a full degree programme, regardless of year or subject of study, including undergraduate and postgraduate, are eligible to apply. ISC programmes, access courses and students on a visitor visa are not eligible. Please note that you must be a registered student for the duration of the internship. Students who have been successful in securing ANY previous ABDN Internship, at any time since Summer 2023, are not eligible to apply.

- Part-time internship - 7 weeks - Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust - applications close on 21st April

This internship will run for 7 weeks, with an expected commitment of approximately 10 hours per week, based at the Aberdeen FC Community Trust offices within Aberdeen Football Club’s Pittodrie Stadium. The internship will commence ASAP. Applications close on 21st April 2026.

Successful applicants will work as part of a group on a virtual project running from 15 June to 31 July 2026. Details of available projects will be published here when the internships are open for application on 27 April.
