Advertises placements (of at least 3 months) for recent graduates and postgraduates. Opportunities are available in the private, public and voluntary sectors.

Careerwise - placements for women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine

This is a placement scheme exclusively for women studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine subjects at Scottish Universities and Colleges. The placements typically last 8 - 12 weeks, are paid at least £16K pro rata and take place over the summer between June and August each year.

Rate My Placement

RateMyPlacement allows students to review their placement provider and experience. There is also a searchable database of placement and internship opportunities. In addition, RateMyPlacement produces a guide to top work experience employers. It contains profiles of employers and offers advice on finding placements and internships. Free resource that allows you to undertake work experience tasks set by real graduate employers. You watch videos of employers explaining what the tasks involve and then you can opt to upload your work to the site. After completing a task you will learn how employees of the company would have completed the task.
