Rate My Placement

RateMyPlacement allows students to review their placement provider and experience. There is also a searchable database of placement and internship opportunities. In addition, RateMyPlacement produces a guide to top work experience employers. It contains profiles of employers and offers advice on finding placements and internships. Copies of the guide are available to take-away from the Careers Service.

Forage - virtual work experience programmes

Free resource that allows you to undertake work experience tasks set by real graduate employers. You watch videos of employers explaining what the tasks involve and then you can opt to upload your work to the site. After completing a task you will learn how employees of the company would have completed the task.

This virtual work experience programme, hosted by Forage, consists of a series of activities that will build your employability skills.

Bright Network

Free resource for finding internships and graduate jobs. They offer a 3-day virtual internship programme, "Internship Experience UK", which runs in the summer. You can use their website all year round to search for internships and graduate jobs, as well as accessing helpful careers advice.

Springpod - Free Virtual Work Experience Programmes

Free, interactive virtual work experience programmes in a range of sectors, including healthcare, engineering, finance, media, law and environment. Please note that you must be aged 14-19 years old and live in the UK to register for these programmes.

CARE is a well-established mainstream Christian charity. The leadership programme offers placements in Westminster, Brussels and Edinburgh as well as placements in the media, charities and third sector.
