NI Probation Board

The Probation Board for Northern Ireland (PBNI) provides services across Northern Ireland employing more than 400 people and overseeing a budget of £18m. Over half of PBNI’s staff are Probation Officers based in more than 35 sites from Belfast to Londonderry. Probation Officers are qualified social workers but PBNI also employs people to work in other areas of the organisation such as administration, finance, information technology, human resources and operational support staff e.g. Community Service Supervisors and Probation Service Officers.
