Robert Gordon University

We work in partnership with academics and academic departments at the Robert Gordon University to help achieve our joint initiative, which is to help deliver conferences and events to the city, serving to strengthen the city's reputation as a prime destination for hosting national and international conferences and events.

ECIR Conference 2017

As part of the Aberdeen Ambassador Network, our team worked with Robert Gordon University (RGU) Computational Systems Professor, Ayse Goker, and the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) to successfully bid for Aberdeen to host the 39th Annual European Conference on Informational Retrieval (ECIR) in 2017. The conference was project managed by our team and hosted by RGU, with the AECC as the main venue. The successful 6-day event brought 150 European and International delegates to the city of Aberdeen.

ICMAN IUPHAR Conference 2017

As a partner in the Aberdeen Ambassador Network, our team worked collaboratively with Robert Gordon University (RGU) Cardiovascular Pharmacology Professor and local ambassador, Cherry Wainwright, to project manage the joint conference between the International Conference of the Mechanism of Action of Nutraceutical (ICMAN) and International Union of Pharmacology (IUPHAR) Natural Products Section for the ICMAN IUPHAR 2017 Conference, which was hosted at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) and attracted over 100 international delegates to the city.
