Riverside Rhythms: Discovering Nam Sang Wai

Aberdeen University Hong Kong Alumni Association (AUHKA) invites you to join them for a walking tour of Nam Sang Wai.

Nam Sang Wai is well known for its reedbed, the rows of Red Eucalyptus and the iconic wedding bridge. What else do you know about this place? Join us to uncover this hidden gem as we explore its history and natural beauty.  Along the way, we will also keep an eye out for birds that call this place home.

This is a walking tour, so please ensure you are physically fit to participate. The trail is mostly flat and paved.

ITINERARY:

  • 12:00                Gather at Yuen Long Station for Lunch (optional)
  • 12:00 - 13:45  Lunch (optional)*
  • 13:45                Start the Tour from Yuen Long Station
  • 13:45 - 17:15  Tour around Nam Sang Wai Area
  • 17:15                Tour end at Yuen Long Station

*Lunch is not provided but can be purchased by particiants.  

Optional: A pair of binoculars can be borrowed for a fee of HK$50.
