During his online talk on Thursday 25 May from 4pm-5.15pm (BST), Dr Jackson Armstrong will share the latest news from the collaborative work between the University and the City Archives investigating Aberdeen’s medieval civic records.
The Aberdeen Burgh Records Project has just marked its tenth year and the creation of the Aberdeen Registers Online in 2019 has led to a UK-German joint funding project comparing Aberdeen with Augsburg, to digital game which was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland Award, and more besides. The potential of these records to enrich our understanding of Aberdeen, and its place in Scotland and Europe, continues to be unlocked.
