University of the Basque Country a public university which both preserves and maintains the Basque language, yet offers courses in both Spanish and English. The three campuses of the University of the Basque Country are located on the Northern coast of Spain in the Basque Autonomous Community. This is a unique historical and cultural region, and is quite distinct from the predominant Spanish identity.
