Part-Time Study

The University of Aberdeen offers a broad spectrum of undergraduate degrees which draw high quality teaching and knowledge together. The majority of these degree programmes are available to study on a part-time basis on campus in Aberdeen. Exceptions are Medicine, Dentistry, MA Primary Education and Engineering. If you just want to study individual courses to update your qualifications or for interest then Individual Subject Study (ISS) may be the route for you.

In addition to part-time study on our Degree programmes we also offer two specialised part-time Programmes, Counselling Skills and Christian and Religious Studies.

We understand that committing to part-time study alongside work or family commitments is not the same as coming to Aberdeen as a full time student therefore have tried to answer the most frequently asked questions about part-time study below.
