There is one James Carnegie Scholarship available. The scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students' maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years).

Applications for The James Cameron Carnegie Scholarship are now closed. Applications will re-open in 2020.

Eligibility

The James Carnegie Scholarship is open to applicants holding an offer of admission for any campus-based full-time postgraduate degree programme starting in September 2018 in one of the following Schools: School of Divinity, History & Philosophy; Education; Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture; or Law.

Applicants must be classified by the University as Home/EU, RUK or Overseas for tuition fee purposes.

This scholarship is currently closed for applications. Please check this webpage for details of when it will re-open.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic potential and financial need (please see Guidelines document for full details).

Please read the Guidelines document fully before completing the application form. To apply, please click the 'Apply Now' button below. Please complete the application form and select the 'James Carnegie Scholarship' as the scholarship you are applying for. If you are applying for more than one scholarship, please only select the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for.

Once you have fully completed the application form, click 'Submit Form'. You will then receive an email confirming that your application has been received.
