The School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition is an exciting and challenging choice as a base for your postgraduate research studies. Postgraduate students wishing to undertake research within the School have a range of degree options to choose from:

Your research training is supported by our Postgraduate Research School who will work closely with you to ensure you receive excellent research-specific and generic skills training to equip you for future employment in research and other industries.

All postgraduate research students will complete their degree with a viva voce (oral examination). This is a crucial component of your research programme where you will present your findings and respond to questions from a panel of examiners.
