Fiona Highet from Scottish Government gives us an insight into her work as Entomology Manager at Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA) at the SBS Friday research seminar.

Fiona currently leads the entomology team at SASA. They provide diagnoses and advice to Scottish Government plant and animal health policy/inspectors and the industry on a range of issues including aphid/virus epidemiology, quarantine insect pests and all aspects of honey bee health. She is also involved in a number of research collaborations working on honey bee diseases and quarantine plant pests of concern to Scottish agriculture.
