Research Fellow in Fish Vaccine Development, Biological Sciences (SBS148R)

The Scottish Fish Immunology Research Centre (SFIRC) at the University of Aberdeen undertakes fundamental and applied research to enhance current knowledge of fish physiology, with a strong emphasis on immunology and nutrition. A key area of focus is on the molecular and functional underpinnings of fish-pathogen interactions via functional genomics and gene / genome editing. New knowledge informs on the development of immunotherapeutic approaches, including novel vaccines and alternative vaccination approaches via development of functional feeds and immunostimulants to improve fish health and welfare.
