About

Biography

Toni graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2002 with a BSc in Software Engineering and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Learning in Teaching in 2011.

She joined the Centre of Learning and Learning and Teaching, which became the Department of Learning Teaching and Assessment, at Robert Gordon University in 2005 as a Learning Technologist. Then moved to the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in 2008 as an eLearning Advisor, latterly an Online Learning Developer, where she was also the Accessibility Lead and the Business Champion for the school with the rollout of Office 365.

She completed her Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority in 2018.

Toni joined the Institute of Applied Health Sciences in the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition in 2021 as a Teaching Fellow in Learning Design Technology.

I am passionate about patient involvement in research; User experience with technology and providing appropriate and authentic assessment and feedback.

Toni now co-coordinate two postgraduate work-based Learning courses as part of our MSc Programmes.  My specialisms are Digital Marketing, Technology Enhanced Learning and Assessment and Feedback. I am part of the group informing on the upscaling of the university’s work-based learning for all students in line with our 2040 strategy.
