Biography
Stephanie is a Professor and Director of Enhancements & Reputation, at The Business School, active in research including virtual environments and Business School accreditations she has publications in the areas of how people respond to change (especially IT outsourcing) and social media use in Higher Education. She has worked as Professor at Kent Business School and Associate Dean at Kingston Business School. She has a background in senior management in the IT industry and has continued engagement with industry bodies since moving into academia. She has recognised skills in managing change and in recent years has developed substantial expertise in the HE sector. In particular she has built a reputation in the area of enhancing education through Business School accreditations, including invited speaker and workshop facilitator at Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and EFMD Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) conferences, and has been chair of the AACSB European Accreditation Group, and co-chair of the UK & Ireland Accreditation group. She has been an AACSB mentor (assisting European Schools in working towards accredited status) and EFMD Programme panel member and Advisor, and has carried out a number of invited mock improvement reviews for Schools across Europe. She has been involved with driving the focus on Sustainability and Responsible Management in a number of Business Schools and has assisted with development of sharing information on progress (SIP) reports for PRME (Principles for Responsible Management in Education).
Stephanie is a Principal Fellow of the HEA, a Chartered Psychologist, Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) and a Fellow of the CMI. She has worked on a number of committees and boards including International QA visits and is currently a board member for the CABS CMBE Professional Standards Board, and on the International Advisory Board for the Prague University of Economics and Business.
