Biography
Dr. Muhammad Wasim is a scholar and educator who is passionate about imparting knowledge and experience in the field of academia. He holds an MBA and a doctoral degree in the Doctor of Business Administration program from the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). His doctoral research particularly investigates the relationships between different organisational orientations (i.e., entrepreneurial, market & learning orientations), financial resources, and SME performance.
Currently, Dr. Wasim is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Aberdeen. He has previously worked as an Associate Lecturer for the University of West of Scotland and as a Lecturer and Modules Leader for The London College. He has experience in delivering a wide range of business management modules, including organisational behaviour, entrepreneurship, leadership, change management, HRM, business strategy, operations management, international marketing, and research methodologies. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students from different parts of the world. Dr. Wasim also plays a crucial role in shaping the academic journey of undergraduate students by offering supervision and mentorship, enabling the students to learn essential skills required to conduct business research.
Apart from his teaching role, Dr. Wasim has actively contributed to the academic community through research publications and conference presentations. He has explored the intersections of strategic orientations, organisational learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), creativity, financial resources, and SME performance in his research, offering valuable insights for both scholars and industry professionals.
