MONA MAIER

Biography

Mona started her PhD with the Health Psychology Group in February 2021, with Dr Julia Allan, Dr Daniel Powell, and Professor Peter Murchie. Mona’s PhD is focused on researching decision fatigue in health relevant decision making with a particular focus on medical decision making.

Previously, Mona worked as a Behavioural Scientist for a consulting firm within the German health care landscape and as a teaching assistant at the University of Stirling.

Mona's background is in Economics and Behavioural Science. She is interested in understanding health behaviours and exploring the use of Behavioural Insights to improve individual and public health outcomes. Mona obtained a MSc Behavioral Science for Management from the University of Stirling in 2019.
