Ms Lili Xu

Biography

I joined the Epidemiology group as a research fellow at the University of Aberdeen in mid-July 2023, after completing a Ph.D. in Health Services and Policy at the University of Iowa in the U.S.. My doctoral research is focused on long-term care and healthcare workforce issues in the U.S..

Prior to my Ph.D. study, I was the Director of the Administrative Office and Research Analyst at the Shanghai Centre for Drug Discovery and Development at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. I followed China's drug regulatory reform and biopharma industry trends and led consulting projects. I hold an MS degree in medicinal chemistry from Fudan University and a BS degree in information systems and management from China Pharmaceutical University. 

I am excited to bring my quantitative research skills, interdisciplinary background, and multicontinental experiences to studies within the Epidemiology group.
