Biography

Dr Laura McCrimmon is a Public Health Registrar and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Aberdeen Medical School with a special interest in preventative health and the health co-benefits of climate action.

Laura is responsible for hosting educational events regarding Climate and Health and Sustainable Healthcare across the University of Aberdeen SMMSN and NHS Grampian to educate, empower and create active networks improving the sustainability of healthcare and healthcare education.

Laura is the theme lead for the 1st year Medicine sustainable healthcare student selected component at Aberdeen University and has supported undergraduate medical students in carrying out sustainability projects.

Dr. McCrimmon is currently studying her Masters of Public Health at the University of Exeter as part of her Public Health Registrar training. She is completing her dissertation on the implementation of policies to reduce urban air pollution.
